Design and construction of a 380,000 SF pre-cast hybrid parking facility featuring a roof-level recreation field. The structure fits in seamlessly with and acts as a social hub for the adjacent student housing and private apartments. The four parking levels are either partially or completely below grade. As the site slopes downward, the facility emerges from the hillside. Vehicular entry/exits match the different grades. We self-performed all concrete forming and all poured concrete. The jobsite was very tight with adjacent occupied buildings on the school’s campus. Early and often coordination and communication with the College were paramount. Overaa diverted in excess of 50% of project waste from landfill to reuse. The project received “Excellence in Category II & V” by the International Parking Awards – the highest honors a parking structure can receive.
