Overaa has delivered multifamily housing across the Bay Area in many forms, including student and teacher housing, micro-units, prefabricated housing, and developments ranging from affordable to market-rate. We know that successful housing projects in this region require creativity and coordination at every stage—from entitlements and design through financing and construction. That experience is reflected in El Portal Place, where Overaa partnered with Contra Costa County, the City of San Pablo, and the State of California to convert a former office building into California’s first design-build-finance permanent supportive housing project for individuals experiencing homelessness.
