Overaa Is Commited To Your Privacy
C. Overaa & Co. (“Overaa,” “Overaa Construction,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at overaa.com and any related Overaa online or mobile service (together, the “Site”), how we use it, the third-party technologies the Site relies on, and the choices and rights you have, including specific rights if you are a California resident.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Effective date: 07/24/2026
1. Who We Are
Overaa Construction is a construction company based in Richmond, California. Our website exists primarily to share information about our company, our projects, and our services, and to let visitors contact us or apply for open positions. We are the business responsible for (“controller of”) the personal information collected through the Site.
2. Information we collect
a. Information you give us
We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it. For example, when you use a contact form, request information about our services, apply for a job, or otherwise communicate with us. Depending on what you submit, this may include your name, company name, job title, postal address, email address, telephone number, and the content of any message, inquiry, or application you send.
b. Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically by our web servers and by the analytics and functionality tools described in Section 3. This may include:
- Your Internet Protocol (IP) address and general location derived from it (such as region or city);
- Browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen or viewport size;
- The pages you view, links you click, the date and time of your visit, how long you stay, and the website or source that referred you to us;
- Interaction data such as scrolling, clicks, and navigation paths.
Some of this information is collected using cookies and similar technologies, described below.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, financial account numbers, or health information) through routine browsing, and our Site is not directed to children.
3. Cookies, analytics, and third-party technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We and certain third-party providers use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags, embedded content, and SDKs) to operate the Site, understand how it is used, and provide certain features. Some of these technologies transmit information, such as your IP address and device or browser identifiers, to the third parties that provide them.
We group these technologies into the following categories:
Strictly necessary / functional. Required for the Site to work and to remember your privacy choices. These are always active. They include our consent-management tool (Complianz) and our spam-protection tool (CleanTalk), as well as standard WordPress and Elementor components used to build and display pages.
Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address, device and browser data, and pages viewed. This information helps us measure traffic and site performance.
Third-party content and services. To provide certain features, the Site loads content or services from third parties. When this content loads, your browser connects to those third parties, which may receive your IP address and device or browser information and may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. These include:
- YouTube (Google LLC): to display embedded videos. See Section 4 for details specific to YouTube.
- Google Maps (Google LLC): to display maps and directions.
- Google reCAPTCHA (Google LLC): to protect forms against spam and abuse.
- Google Fonts (Google LLC): to display web fonts.
- Facebook / Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.): to display social content and sharing features.
How consent works. With the exception of strictly necessary technologies, we configure the Site so that analytics and third-party content technologies do not load or transmit information until you have been shown our cookie banner and have made a choice. When you first visit, you can accept, decline, or manage these technologies through the banner and the “Manage Cookie Consent” controls. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link on the Site. If you decline, non-essential technologies remain blocked, though some features (such as embedded videos or maps) may not display.
Each of the third parties above processes information under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Meta’s Privacy Policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy) to understand how they handle your information.
5. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries, requests, and job applications, and communicate with you;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services;
- Understand and analyze how the Site is used, and measure the performance of our content;
- Protect against spam, fraud, abuse, and security threats;
- Send you communications you have requested, and provide information about our company, services, or events (you may opt out of marketing emails at any time); and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information only as described here:
- Service providers. We share information with vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, analytics, spam protection, and communications, and that are permitted to use the information only to provide those services to us.
- Third-party content and platforms. As described in Sections 3 and 4, when third-party content (such as YouTube videos, Google Maps, reCAPTCHA, fonts, or social features) loads, the applicable third party receives information directly from your browser and processes it under its own privacy policy. Some of these interactions, for example, the use of advertising-affiliated cookies by Google or Meta — may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out as described in Section 8.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Overaa, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If Overaa is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Your browser or a browser extension may transmit a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Where required by law, we treat a valid GPC signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser and device.
8. Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (the “CCPA/CPRA”), gives you the following rights regarding personal information we collect:
- Right to know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it;
- Right to delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information;
- Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
How to exercise your rights. You may submit a request using the contact details in Section 12, or by using the cookie settings and opt-out controls available on the Site. We will verify your request as required by law and respond within the timeframes the law provides. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
Please note that the right to obtain copies applies to specific pieces of personal information and does not entitle you to entire documents that happen to contain personal information, and that certain information may be withheld where the law permits or requires (for example, information used for security purposes or subject to legal restrictions).
9. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, to provide our services, and to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
10. Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a general, business audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to websites we do not operate or control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the “Effective date” above. If we make material changes to how we use or disclose personal information, we will provide a more prominent notice as required by law. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
14. Enforcement
We use a self-assessment approach to ensure compliance with this Privacy Policy and periodically verify the policy is accurate and is comprehensive for the information intended to be covered, prominently displayed, and completely implemented. We encourage interested persons to raise concerns using the contact information provided at the bottom of this page, and we will investigate and attempt to resolve any complaints and disputes regarding use and disclosure of Personal Data.
