Where are internships located?
Project Engineer Internships are typically project-based, meaning you will spend much of your time in the field, working out of the jobsite trailer.
Our projects are located throughout Northern and Central California with most of them in the greater Bay Area. We consider interns' local accommodations and commutes when assigning jobsites. Frequent meet ups, tours, and trainings take place at our Richmond headquarters.
Will I have a mentor?
Yes. You will be part of a project team, and depending on the project, will work directly for the project engineer, project manager of superintendent.
Do interns return the following summer?
Yes, many do. Returning interns will be assigned a different project and team to gain a breadth of experience and variety of project types.
Do interns receive full-time offers?
Approximately half of our interns receive full-time offers.
Do I need a car?
Yes. A car is preferred for getting to and from the Richmond office and attending field trips.
