Kaiser South Sacramento Parking Structure

Project Details

New design build precast hybrid parking structure constructed on a fully operation hospital campus. The garage is a 5 level, 285,000 sq.ft., 886 stall facility with multiple materials used for achitectural facade. Despite rain during the footing work, unsuitable soils that had to be exported and replaced in kind, and labor strikes, the team delivered on time. The foundation system is spread footings and grade beams. Under slab utilities were excavated, installed, and backfilled as needed within the building footprint. The structural skeleton of the building is precast concrete columns and beams. These elements were installed in one mobilization, each piece flown in via crane. The project includes three structural stell stair cases and one elevator. Overaa self performed the deck formwork. 7,375 cy of concrete was placed.  precast hybrid parking structure.
