Kaiser Oakland Medical Center Parking Structure Phase 2

Within an urban setting, this 410,000 SF design-build parking structure consisted of a pre-cast hybrid structural system, mat slab foundation, waterproofed basement levels, metal panels, and perforated metal screening.

The project was constructed directly across the street from Kaiser's operating Mosswood MOB to the west, and the main hospital to the north. It provides parking for Kaiser's new hospital support building, medical office building, and a central utility plant.  Overaa crews self-performed the 7,000 cubic yard mat foundation, pre-cast beams and columns, and cast-in place parking decks.
