The West Contra Costa County’s Health Center is a 20,700 SF expansion design/build project. The Children/Adult Behavioral Health clinics will be two stories above grade with a drop-off area and accessible parking stalls. The site is located at the vacant parcel known as “Block A,” between San Pablo Avenue and the existing West County Health Center (WCHC) on approximately one-acre (purchased by the County from the City of San Pablo for this expansion) and subsequently merged with the existing parcel. Improvements include a standalone structure with a covered walkway to the existing WCHC, a shared outdoor courtyard with WCHC, and new service yard for trash/recycling containers and mechanical equipment. This facility will house behavioral health clinics relocating from their current location in Richmond. No inpatient services will be involved at this project. This is a LEED Silver and OSHPD 3 project.
