South County Water Supply Program

This 40 MGD project provides drinking water for the Cities of Oakdale, Escalon, Manteca and Tracy. The process design utilized Ozonia dissolved air flotation pretreatment, lime stabilization by RDP, Zeenon Zeeweed 1000 submerged membrane equipment and Pulsafeeder chemical feed systems. Source water from the Woodard Reservoir is treated. On-site chemical feed systems include ferric chloride, hydrated lime, carbonic acid, sodium hypochlorite and sodium hydroxide. Auxiliary facilities include operations and maintenance building, finished water storage facilities, storm water detention basin, waster stream management facilities, electric substation and miscellaneous yard structures.
