CCCSD Mechanical & Concrete Renovations

Project Details

Construction of a temporary bypass pump station plus renovations and replacement of failing mechanical equipment. This included renovations of sluice gates and primary sedimentation guide rails, and the repair of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) odor control equipment, crack repair, concrete coating and permeation grouting. The final design included 11 diesel driven pumps that required full time operation and maintenance over a four week period. The temporary bypass system operated perfectly without any spills, shutdowns or backup into the collection system. Overaa self-performed the mechanical gate install, concrete repair of the sedimentation tanks, minor site equipment pads and curbs, and sedimentation tank equipment install with guide rail welding.
