Design and construction of a 0.25 MGD MBR water recycling facility to produce 125 acre-feet per year of non-potable water supply for the City of Pacific Grove, CA irrigation use. Construction included a complete waste water treatment facility with headworks/influent screening, biological treatment with a suspended growth/activated sludge process, membrane separation, UV disinfection, chlorine addition, and recycled water storage and distribution pump station. Renovating and reusing two existing tanks onsite provided 650,000 gallons of recycled water storage and eliminated the need and expense of constructing new tanks. Advanced noise and odor controls were also provided. The facility features an architectural design that blends in with the surrounding community.
