The scope of work for this project included construction of 135,000 SF tilt-up concrete and masonry addition complete with all major building systems, paving and landscaping, and relocation and construction of a new Bulk Mail Entry Unit building. The project’s scope of work also included renovations and alterations to numerous areas throughout the 200,000 SF existing facility.
Additional features of the building included: tilt-up concrete walls, masonry partitions, epoxy flooring, PVC Membrane roofing, electrical substation and power distribution, fire alarm and paging system, CCTV camera system, Interior rigid wall insulation, HVAC and related duct work, smoke hatches and skylights, roof mounted maintenance crane, truck docks and doors, acoustical ceiling tile and grid system
Large expansion to existing USPS facility included space for electronic equipment, operations and systems maintenance support areas, break area. Construction included shallow concrete foundations, structural steel frame, steel joists, metal roof decking, PVC membrane roofing, sealed concrete floors super-flat flooring requirements, loading docks, exterior overhead doors, fire alarm and paging system, wet sprinkler throughout, restrooms and locker rooms, office annex, exterior concrete and asphalt paving.
