Construction of 135,000 SF tilt-up concrete and masonry addition complete with all major building systems, paving and landscaping, plus the relocation and construction of a new Bulk Mail Entry Unit building. Scope also covered renovations and alterations to numerous areas throughout the 200,000 SF existing facility. The large expansion to existing USPS facility includes space for electronic equipment, operations and systems maintenance support areas, and break area. Construction included: shallow concrete foundations, structural steel frame, steel joists, metal roof decking, PVC membrane roofing, sealed concrete floors super-flat flooring requirements, loading docks, exterior overhead doors, fire alarm and paging system, wet sprinkler throughout, restrooms and locker rooms, office annex, and exterior concrete.
