Modernization of a 42,340 SF elementary school building completed in two, eight week sessions over two summer breaks. Scope covered two-stories plus basement cafeteria. 14 classrooms, auditorium, library, warming kitchen, administrative and support spaces, plus a licensed kindergarten were renovated. Additional scope covered site work, electrical systems upgrade, fire alarm replacement, interior finishes and window replacement, plumbing, and accessibility upgrades. Overaa surpassed the local business participation requirement and achieved 72% local business participation for the project. We also participated in an internship program for students to receive exposure to the construction industry.
