New Administrative/Classroom Building and Arts Department, plus additions and modernization of an occupied campus. Phase I included modifications and additions to the existing buildings. Extensive interior renovations included: doors; windows; glazing; curtain walls; cabinets; acoustical tile and gypsum board ceilings; bathrooms; finishes including flooring, painting, ceramic tile, other wall coverings and wall base; and replacement of portions of the HVAC system. Electrical work included new electrical services, fire alarm, security system, information system and telephone system. Scope also covered the construction of the new 10,500 SF administrative office building and new Art Department addition with a 17,000 SF, two-level of music department, art classrooms, choir room, music storage, offices, classrooms, elevator, and graphics/technology department. Phase II consisted of modernizing and seismically retrofitting the existing 23,000 SF auditorium with over 450 seats and 10,500 SF classrooms. Rehabilitation and renovation of the auditorium included seating replacement, ADA ramps, fire sprinklers, and major abatement mitigations that covered both the exterior and interior of the facility.
