PG&E Egbert Switchyard Station

This in progress project involves construction of a new Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) strengthening PG&E’s critical power infrastructure and improving grid reliability for the City and County of San Francisco. The facility will connect to the existing 230 kV system via new underground single-circuit transmission lines, enabling power routing to San Francisco in the event of a major disaster. Scope includes the GIS building housing electrical control switching gear, site preparation, coordination with PG&E’s high-voltage contractor, architectural metal panel screening, and site improvements.
