Construction of tertiary treatment plant included aqua-aerobics cloth disk filters and Trojan UV disinfection system. Flood control improvements consisted of three miles of levee fortification. Treatment plant expansion covered the construction of aerated grit tank, 140’ primary clarifier, 300’ oxidation ditch, and a new 39” effluent pipeline. The existing shop and maintenance building was also expanded. Scope also included replacement of a pump station.
