Waste Management Organic Material Processing Facility

Design and construction of a 90,000 SF organic material processing facility. Pre- and post-processing facilities were provided, including eight-lane enclosed Smartturn Composting System and covered aeration piping. Construction involved drilled pile foundations on top of a landfill site. Scope also covered sitework, structural concrete for foundations and lane turners walls, HVAC, and electrical work. Preparation and coordination of all permit packages through the City of San Leandro was also required.
