Dale joined Overaa in 1986 and is a seasoned expert at all aspects of project stewardship, financial control, quality execution, and safe work practices. He directs all of Overaa’s field operations including: safety, quality control, production, and craft resources. He also oversees our Self Perform Group, which performs all phases of concrete, wood framing, site work, and process piping.
You’ll never meet a more humble, loyal, or down-to-earth guy than Dale. He began his career as a carpenter and was quickly promoted to superintendent of complex projects. As General Superintendent, Dale leverages his deep construction knowledge across a variety of industries including water treatment facilities, laboratory, refinery, commercial, tenant improvements and parking structures to provide oversight for all our superintendents, 300+ craftspeople, field administration, safety personnel, and yard operations.
Under Dale’s direction, Overaa was one of the first contractors in the state accepted into the Cal/OSHA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP.) The VPP program is designed to recognize workplaces with outstanding health and safety management systems for protection of workers that go beyond minimal compliance with the Cal/OSHA Title 8 standards.
