Description

The Project is located at the City’s Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 2050 Detroit Dr, San Mateo, CA 94404 and is described as follows:
Construction of a polymer injection system to reduce sludge cake pump operating pressures and improve the reliability of the sludge handling process. The Work is generally described as follows:
2.1.1. Construction of two new polymer pumps on concrete equipment pads.
2.1.2. Construction of two new polymer injection rings.
2.1.3. Associated piping, valves, and appurtenances.
2.1.4. Associated electrical and instrumentation work, including new local control panel
Additionally, programming of existing PLC processors and existing HMI graphics is the responsibility of the System Integrator and generally includes the following:
2.1.5. The System Integrator will be retained under separate contract by the City to program, install, and test the new PLC processors and HMI graphics.

 

The Project must be fully completed within 120 working days

Mandatory Site Visit: A mandatory site visit will be held on September 22, 2026, from 1:30 to 2:30 PM (PT) outside of 2050 Detroit Dr, San Mateo, CA 94404.
