LLNL B657 New Prototyping Enclave

THIS IS AN OVERAA PURSUIT

Overaa is seeking subcontractor bids for a new 16,110 SF New Prototyping Enclave building with site improvement including site infrastructure required to support the new facility at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Scope:

Construction of a new one story Laboratory Building and associated new parking and site improvements

Construction of a new approximately 16,110 square foot laboratory building with pre-cast concrete sandwich exterior panels and steel structure. Associated building architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems
Civil hardscape and landscape
Selective demolition – to access existing underground utilities
Equipment start-up
Systems commissioning – limited to those installed in contract
Building commissioning and LEED certification construction related submittals and information
Site and building related excavation, backfill, compaction and material removal, off-haul and disposal
Site and utilities improvements associated with the new building
Control area boundary, includes 1 hour rated wall and 20 minute rated doors
LCW lines from western vault

Pricing:

Base Bid – Base bid shall be in accordance with Plans and Specifications, Contract Documents, Overaa’s provided sample Subcontract, and Overaa’s Addendum B for Federal Projects.

Options – Provide a separate price for each option. Options may be exercised on or before 02-Dec-2027.

Option #1: Provide laboratory fume hoods per the Construction Documents (price for 8 fume hoods).
Option #1 (a): Provide unit price for each additional fume hood.
Option #2: Provide laboratory casework with plumbing per the Construction Documents.

Other Requirements:

OFCI – Items to be furnished by owner and installed by Electrician include SF6 6-Way Switch and 1500/1680kVA Transformer
Training – Site 200: On-Site Subcontractor personnel are required to complete LLNL training course EP0026 for S200 outdoor work, “Natural Resources Protection at the Livermore Site” prior to performing work [30 min]
Training – IN1000, Contracted Worker Safety Briefing: Required for all procured construction projects [60 min]
Site Access: On-site personnel and delivery drivers must be citizens of the United States. See Security and Site Access Provisions document for further details.
Buy American Act: Materials purchased for this Project must comply with Buy American Act requirements. Reference: FAR 52.225-2 / BUY AMERICAN ACT CERTIFICATE)
Prevailing Wage Requirements: This project includes Prevailing Wage Requirements (see document titled “CA20260018 – Mod 8 – 17 Sep 26.pdf”). Overaa is signatory to Carpenters and Laborers and all work claimed by either Trade must be performed by a signatory subcontractor.
