Scope of work includes:
- The project includes construction of a new Brier Elementary School and a new Glankler Early Learning Center with associated sitework and improvements to replace existing occupied school buildings. The project includes phasing of abatement, demolition, sitework and new improvements in order to transition from the old facilities to the new building.
- Traditional wood framed structures.
MEPF:
- Design build by the Subcontractors, you will carry the EOR and pick up from the posted documents.
- MEPF Subcontractors to provide a two part proposal: 1) Design & Preconstruction. 2) Construction.
- MEP Subcontractors must be prequalified with the district.
Labor Requirements:
- Project Stabilization Agreement per Appendix F.
- Skilled & Trained workforce requirements per Appendix C.
Schedule:
- 4 phases (1, 2, 3A, 3B) per “Appendix A – Project Description, Project Milestone Schedule”.
- Design & Permitting: 10/10/2025 – 8/3/2026.
- Construction: 8/3/2026 – 8/31/2028.
Alternates & Unit Pricing:
- Alt. #1: Three (3) additional ELOP (Expanded Learning Opportunities Program) Classrooms as described on the Bridging Documents.
- Alt. #2: Removal of existing Child Care portable building as described on the Bridging Documents.
- Hazmat unit pricing per “Attachment 1 Hazardous Material Abatement Specification” located in Appendix B – HAZMAT pages 36 – 37 of 277.
Warranty:
- 2 years.
Items to be Salvaged (per Appendix C – Special Conditions 00 73 13-8):
Existing improvement and equipment identified below need to be properly disconnected, removed and delivered to the District maintenance yard prior to identified buildings to be demolished.
- Fire Alarm devices such as strobes, smoke detectors and heat detectors
- Exterior Speakers
- Exterior WAPs with Cover Boxes
- Interior Clock/Bell Speakers
- Key cores from door hardware
- Fire Extinguishers
- Interior WAPs
- Interior Projectors, Projector Mounts and Project Screens
- IDFs & MDF
