On Tuesday, Overaa’s San Jose office volunteered at the Second Harvest Food Bank by helping sort food at the Cypress Center Warehouse in San Jose. Our volunteers spent two hours placing more than 15,000 pounds of fresh California oranges into carefully weighed 25 pound boxes. The oranges, along with other food at the food bank, will be distributed to various food distribution programs providing groceries and fresh produce to hundreds of sites in the Silicon Valley. One in 10 people in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties receive assistance from Second Harvest Food Bank providing more than 54,000,000 meals annually to those in need. Overaa is proud to support and give back to our community and to support the Second Harvest Food Bank.
