Overaa Outdoes Mother Nature

In just six months, and ahead of schedule in spite of a torrential winter, Overaa converted a muddy pit into an architectural gem and functional Compressed Dry Air (CDA) facility for a local client. The previous system was over 70 years old and was reliably deficient for CDA generation. Overaa’s work on this project included the construction of a brand new 1,600 SF, 24-foot-tall CDA generation facility to house a fully functional CDA generation system. The scope of work included the installation of two new compressor units, the relocation of a third unit, one aftercooler system, one wet receiver, 2 dryers, one dry receiver, and a series of high performance filter units, as well as an extensive CDA piping distribution system from the new facility to the existing manufacturing plant on overhead utility racks. The exterior of the new CDA generation building is finished with two complimentary architectural paneling systems to tie in the colors and styles of the surrounding buildings on campus, and a large storefront assembly that will clearly display the system from the street, as a new industrial showpiece located at the front of one of the campuses busiest entrances.
