On Saturday, April 27th, Overaa teamed with Watry Design and had close to 20 volunteers that participated in National Rebuilding Day. The annual event was hosted by the Silicon Valley chapter of Rebuilding Together, an organization dedicated to improving the homes of those in need across the United States. Overra and Watry’s team volunteered in the Milpitas neighborhood.
In advance of National Rebuilding Day, Overaa staff met with our homeowner to assess her needs and determine a course of action. Throughout the day, our volunteers were tasked with painting the exterior of the homeowner’s mobile home.
Across Santa Clara County, hundreds of volunteers helped repair 30 homes and 6 nonprofits. This is the first year that Overaa led a team and sponsored a home for Rebuilding Together. We look forward to participating more in the future!
