Overaa Construction is thrilled to partner with Joybound People & Pets to bring the new Liberty Center to life. The new 13,000-square-foot facility in Walnut Creek will feature modern boarding accommodations for dogs and cats, a specialized veterinary behavioral clinic, indoor training and enrichment spaces, and outdoor exercise yards. The project also includes new parking, landscaping, and site improvements.
Designed by JPA Strategies Group, the Liberty Center will be more than a pet care facility. It will expand Joybound’s ability to serve families during times of crisis, providing temporary boarding and disaster response support while creating a sustainable source of funding for its vital community programs.
Last week, we celebrated the groundbreaking alongside donors, community leaders, and elected officials, including Congressman Mark DeSaulnier, Assemblymember Rebecca Bauer-Kahan, and Walnut Creek Mayor Kevin Wilk. We’re proud to help build this new community resource that will strengthen the wellbeing of both people and animals.
