This is a budget pricing phase based on the DSA Submission / CD documents for the Menlo-Atherton H.S. bldg. D&E Classroom project.
Overaa was awarded a Lease-Leaseback (LLB) contract with Sequoia Union High School District for this referenced project. The project design is currently developed to design development plans and pricing should reflect the current design, criteria required in the RFP, District Standards, and comprehensive solutions that provide for a complete compliant project. Please also provide any constructability input, value engineering, identification of long lead materials to procure early and maintain project schedule, or other input.
SCOPE OF WORK:

THIS PROJECT INCLUDES DEMOLITION OF EXISTING SINGLE-STORY BUILDINGS D-WING SOUTH AND E-WING SOUTH FOR A NEW 32,059 SF GROUND-UP CLASSROOM BUILDING CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 20 CLASSROOMS FOR GENERAL EDUCATION AND SPECIAL STUDENT PROGRAMS. THE BUILDING IS THREE STORIES WITH EXTERIOR WALKWAYS, SECOND FLOOR TERRACE, ELEVATOR, AND EGRESS STAIRS INCLUDING ONE MAIN STAIR WITH STEPPED SEATING SERVING THE SECOND FLOOR. SITE PAVING AND PLANTING AROUND THE NEW BUILDING WILL TIE INTO SURROUNDING GRADES AND WILL INCLUDE IMPROVEMENTS FOR A NEW FIRE LANE AND STUDENT QUAD WITH NEW STORM WATER TREATMENT.

This Project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement of compliance with prevailing wage requirements by the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code § 1771.4, and skilled and trained workforce requirement pursuant to Public Contract Code § 2600. Contractors of all tiers must be currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code § 1725.5. All Respondents must be prequalified by the District in accordance with Public Contract Code § 20111.6. First tier electrical, mechanical and plumbing subcontractors must be prequalified prior to the time subcontractor final GMP bids are submitted.
