WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY HEADWORKS CONCRETE CHANNEL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

Project work will include concrete rehabilitation and coating repairs of concrete channels inside
the Headworks Facility, replacement of various isolation gates and plates, replacement of a
primary effluent plug valve and flanged coupling adapter, installation and removal of a
temporary bypass pumping and screening system for raw sewage around the Headworks
Facility, and appurtenant work necessary to render the rehabilitated Headworks Facility
complete and operational.

All work specified in this project, shall include the base bid and alternate bids (if shown in
Proposal), and shall be completed within 210 Working Days (WD) (two hundred and ten
working days) from date of the Notice to Proceed. The schedule includes approximately five
and half (5.5) months for procurement and delivery of major equipment to the project site
followed by approximately four and half (4.5) months of construction work inside the
Wastewater Treatment Facility, which is limited between May 15 and September 30.
Contractors are required to obtain written approval from the treatment plant operator and the
City prior to commencing any construction work at the Wastewater Treatment Facility.
