I want to take this opportunity to let you know that this project could not have been successfully completed without the care, guidance and determination of your project team. The team’s greatest skill is being excellent and effective communicators with a very collegial approach to problem solving. The project had challenges, including dealing with difficult sub-contractors in a less than favorable economic environment, demanding campus staff, sensitive neighbors and continual changes to the building elements. The Overaa team was successful at meeting these challenges by listening to each issue and when there was a disagreement, articulate Overaa’s position in a casual, non-threatening way. The Overaa team’s approach enabled the issues to be successfully negotiated and resolved in a professional and positive manner. I want to stress that many issues were extremely complicated and solutions were not straightforward. The Overaa team took the time to understand the issues and developed options for our consideration, including identifying their relative advantages and disadvantages and of course their cost.
The Overaa team has proven to set the bar for contractors with technical knowledge and project management skills that are unsurpassed in my construction career.
