As in most renovation projects many hidden and unforeseen conditions were discovered. In addition the client made numerous changes in finishes and material selections. The project provided multiple opportunities for Overaa Construction to claim extra cost due to errors and omissions in the plans or unforeseen conditions discovered in the work. Overaa instead chose to complete the project without claims and within the established budget, in spite of significant delays which were beyond their control.
