The proposed scope of work includes, but is not
limited to rehabilitation of the Salt Works Pump Station including required site clearing and
grubbing, demolition of the existing pump station, demolition and removal of existing generator,
controls and 300-gal day tank and fill box, including modifications to the existing subsurface
concrete structure, construction of a new valve pit and meter pit, modification of an existing bypass
pit, a six (6) ft diameter influent manhole, 18” PVC influent sewer, site piping improvements,
installation of a new motor control center and all electrical work, special protective coatings,
installation of a sound attenuated 125 kW engine generator, all surface improvements, site
improvements, fencing and automatic gate, CMU retaining wall, drainage improvements, pavement
restoration, temporary controls, temporary bypass pumping, nighttime pump station shutdowns as
required, permit compliance, and all other work as shown on the Plans and as called for in the
Special Provisions and as directed by the Engineer.
Project is to be completed within:
Four hundred and fifty (450) consecutive calendar days from the effective date of
the Notice to Proceed.
