Description

Project Updates: Plans and Construction Specifications have been updated since the last bidding
cycle. They include all updates from the previous bid cycle Addendums. Additional updates will be
noted with the plans and specifications. Bidders should not rely on the prior version of the plans and
specifications.

 

Work of the Project includes, but is not limited to, construction of the following items:
1. Clear the Site of existing facilities, utilities, all vegetation, paving, rubble and other existing
Site improvements as indicated, and as required to provide new Work.
2. Provide and maintain barricades, fences and other protective devices as required by the
Authority, City of American Canyon ordinances and codes, and as required to protect the
public and personnel, for the duration of construction.
3. Perform all excavation, fill, backfill, select fill, Class II AB, Asphaltic Concrete, Concrete and
other incidental work required for driveway access, parking and exterior hardscape areas.
4. Fabrication and construction of a metal building as shown on the plans and as specified.
5. Fabrication and construction of an Administration building as shown on the plans and as
specified.
6. Installation of utility connections to the buildings and storm drainage for the site as shown
and specified.
7. Construction of bioretention areas as shown and specified.
8. Perform all other miscellaneous work as shown and specified, and as may be authorized by

A mandatory on-site meeting for contractors is scheduled for Thursday,
August 7, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at the site located at Devlin Road, American Canyon, CA 94503.
Meeting point is 900 feet south of South Kelly Road – see attached map. Contractors with verified
attendance at a minimum of one mandatory on-site meeting during the previous bidding cycle are not
required to attend an additional site meeting to be eligible to bid.

The Plans and Specifications may be viewed at the Napa County Department of Public Works, 1195 Third Street, Room 101 Napa, California, during regular business hours. Plans, Special Provisions (excluding State Standard Specifications and other documents included by reference), Proposal Forms and Contract Forms may be obtained at said office by prospective bidders licensed by the State of California for the type of work involved or may be found electronically at https://www.countyofnapa.org/Bids.aspx Bidders are responsible for monitoring https://www.countyofnapa.org/Bids.aspx for addendums which may be issued up until 72 hours prior to bid opening. Complete sets of Contract Documents must be used in preparing Bids. The Authority does not assume responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Contract Documents.
