Overaa is seeking bids to construct a ground up new one story 22,000 SF office building and associated parking and site improvements at the Lawrence Livermore National Lab campus.
Work includes, but is not limited to
Selective demolition, rebar, concrete, precast concrete, site concrete, structural steel, metal fabrications, metal deck, casework, insulation, weather barriers, metal panels, PVC membrane roof, flashing, roof accessories, firestop, joint sealants, hollow metal and wood doors, frames, hardware, sound control door assemblies, storefront, skylights, glazing, louvers, metal framing, drywall, tiling, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring, carpet, paint, signage, toilet compartments, wall and door protection, toilet accessories, fire protection specialties, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, low voltage, earthwork, paving, landscape, utilities
Following scope to be submitted separately for review and approval by authority having jurisdiction as Design-Build. Bidders shall include costs for engineering and permitting of these items as apply to their trade:

Alternates and Options

Additive Alternate 1: Enhanced landscaping and irrigation adjacent to street.

Additive Alternate 2: Additional glazing system to all exterior windows to create STC 45 window system.

Option 1: East parking lot, including subgrade prep, paving, curb, landscaping, lighting, EV ready parking spaces, etc. as identified on site plan.
Training:
On-site Subcontractor personnel are required to complete LLNL training course EP0026 “Natural Resources Protection at the Livermore Site” prior to performing work
Buy American Act
This project requires compliance with Buy American Act. Each end product or construction material to be delivered must be a domestic end product or domestic construction material as defined in FAR Clause 52.225-1 Buy American – Supplies (NOV 2021) or FAR Clause 52.225-9 Buy American – Construction Material (NOV 2021) as applicable.
Wage rate requirements apply to this project – see wage determination document. Also, Overaa is signatory to Carpenters and Laborers. All work claimed by Carpenters and Laborers must be performed by Carpenters or Laborers as applies.
