TOCALOMA PUMP STATION REHABILITATION PROJECT
This contract is for furnishing labor, materials and equipment for upgrading and modification works at Tocaloma Pump Station.
Tocaloma Pump Station
a. Removal and replacement of five 400hp pumps, motors, and discharge
piping.
b. Removal and replacement of mainline flow meter and vault.
c. Install new mainline isolation butterfly valves upstream and downstream of
pump station.
d. Remove and replace suction and discharge pressure relief valves.
e. Install new drainage vault and drain piping.
f. Demolish existing electrical building.
g. Construct a new CMU electrical building with a steel framed concrete pan
deck roof.
h. Install new 2.4kV service entrance switchgear, new utility transformer
secondary conductors, new medium voltage VFDs, duct-banks and all
associated wiring.
i. Install new instrumentation, a control panel with a new PLC and additional
I/Os for the new VFDs.
j. PLC and HMI configuration/programming per process control requirement.
k. Install a new radio telemetry system to improve SCADA communication.
l. Provide site improvements such as grading, paving, retaining walls, slabon-
grade, and fencing for the new and improved building and equipment.
m. Install a new HVAC system for the new electrical building.
n. Relining the existing drainage pipe.
o. Install a new 50-deep anode well with rectifier.
The work to be done is located in Tocaloma Pump Station at coordinates 38.054714N, -122.760087W in Marin County, California.
All work under this contract shall be completed within 990 calendar days
