Description

The Work consists of construction of Owner’s Wilfred Booster Station
Resiliency project located at 4980 Commerce Boulevard, Rohnert Park, California. The Work
includes, but is not limited to, demolition of the existing medium voltage switchgear and
installation of Owner-furnished medium voltage switchgear; demolition and replacement of the
existing booster pump with a new booster pump; installation of a secondary booster pump and
associated valves and piping to provide redundancy; and upgrades to the control system for
operating the facility. Work shall be completed within 610 Days from the date when Contract
Time commences to run. Bidding Documents contain the full description of the Work.

Requirements

Community Workforce Agreement: Owner is a party to a community workforce agreement (CWA) included as Section 00 73 51 (Supplementary Conditions – Community Workforce Agreement). The CWA applies to projects where the engineer’s estimate for construction is one million dollars or more or where the awarded Contract is one million dollars or more. The CWA requires that the successful Bidder and Subcontractors of all tiers execute Section 00 54 15 (Agreement to be Bound) as a condition of working on this Project.

Availability

Procurement of Bidding Documents: Electronic Bidding Documents are available upon registration through Owner’s online bidding system. Bidders may obtain printed Bidding Documents from Owner upon registration as a planholder through Owner’s office and payment of a non-refundable fee of $80 for each copy. Owner will accept cash or checks payable to “Sonoma County Water Agency.” Bidding Documents contain a reduced set of Drawings. Bidders may arrange to obtain full-size Drawings from Digital Prints & Imaging, 375 Tesconi Circle, Santa Rosa, California, 95401, 707-546-0401, for an additional charge to be paid directly to Digital Prints & Imaging.
