Chris joined Overaa in 1986 and as CEO is responsible for all operations including hands-on oversight of all preconstruction, project management, field, and administrative activities of the company. Throughout the course of construction, Chris measures teams’ performance on budget and schedule goals while ensuring client satisfaction.
Approachable, whip-smart, and known for his sense of humor, Chris exudes competence and integrity. Chris began his career at Overaa as a project engineer and quickly moved up the ranks thanks to his can-do attitude and voracious passion for building teams and building structures. Before taking his leadership position, Chris served as Project Director for Overaa, overseeing various projects including parking structures, historical buildings, education facilities, and industrial projects. Chris has not met a construction challenge he cannot solve.
Chris is a member of the Design/Build Institute of America (DBIA) and he served on the Advisory Council for the Architectural Engineering Department for Cal Poly from 2009 – 2011. Chris yearns to be a cowboy, and when not on the job, he can be found riding his horse through the Bay Area hills.
