The work includes, but is not limited to:

• construction of one new aerated grit tank and two new sedimentation tanks;

• construction of modifications to three existing aerated grit tanks and three existing

sedimentation tanks;

• installing temporary bypass pumping systems, bulkheads, ventilation, and other temporary

facilities as required to perform the work and comply with applicable rules and regulations,

including those regarding confined space entry.

• related demolition, site improvements, process equipment, electrical and instrumentation

systems, and incidentals as described in the Contract Documents.

Two prebid conferences
Bid Walk: 

Two prebid conferences will be held, the first at 2 p.m., local time, on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, and

the second at 2 p.m., local time, on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Both prebid conferences will be held

at the WWTP, 7399 Johnson Drive, Bldg. A, Pleasanton, CA and attendance at one of the two prebid

conferences is mandatory for all contractors submitting a bid. A site visit prior to bidding is mandatory

for the contractor to be qualified to bid on the project.


 Final completion 955 consecutive days after NTP.


The listed Electrical Subcontractor must complete and submit with the Bid Section 00461, CERTIFICATION OF ELECTRICAL SUBCONTRACTOR’S EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS.


Copies of the Contract Documents are now on file and available for public inspection and purchase at Studio Blue Reprographics, 7132-A Johnson Drive, Pleasanton, CA, 94588 (925) 463-9660. The Contract Documents, including half-size drawings, may be purchased for a non-refundable charge of $190. This charge includes the appropriate state sales tax and ground shipping costs. Full-size drawings are available for the cost of reproduction and shipping, if applicable. At the bidder’s request and expense, the Contract Documents may be sent by overnight mail. Bidders can supply their shipper account number to expedite processing. Partial sets of Bid Documents are not available from the Owner.
