The Work includes the construction of improvements for the existing Digester 3 and the
existing biosolids dewatering facility including installing a new Digester 3 pump mixing
system and appurtenances, rerouting the existing Digester 3 supernatant pipe, installing
one new screw press system and appurtenances, modifying the existing dewatered cake
horizontal conveyor to tie into the new screw press system, and other miscellaneous and
related work as shown on the plans and specifications for the project.
The Contractor agrees to commence work within 14 calendar days after both parties
have signed the contract, or as agreed-upon by the City and the Contractor in writing.
Furthermore the Contract agrees to complete the work within 350 calendar days. Upon
submitting a bid, Contractor agrees that length of time of the contract is reasonable.
Local Hire: The City of Lodi has adopted a policy goal to strongly encourage local hire ( residence is within San Joaquin County)
and apprenticeship participation in the construction workforce in accordance with City Council policy.
