Description

Modernization of the existing Hospital AB and BC Buildings requires
relocation of specific departments to Ancillary buildings. The scope of
this project addresses the relocation of the Bed Storage, Family
Resource & Information Center (FRIC), Mail Room, Resident On-Call,
Respiratory Therapy, Resident’s Lounge and creation of administrative
hoteling space to support remote employees. These functions must
move into the Outpatient Pavilions (OPC-1 and OPC-2) by 2025.

The project scope includes renovations to approximately 8,000 sf in the
OPC-1 basement for Resident On-Call/hoteling space, Bed Storage and
Mail Room, 1500 sf in the OPC-1 Lobby Atrium for the FRIC and
administrative offices, 300 sf of demo/renovation within the existing
Respiratory Therapy-Pulmonary Function Testing (RT-PFT) space to
accommodate bronchoscopy functions, 300 sf of renovations in the 2nd
and 4th floor OPC-1 corridors to enclose work areas, and 300 sf of
renovations to the 6th floor OPC-2 Break Room to add workstations.
