Description

The Work consists of, in general, 1) installing IX

treatment to remove PFAS from groundwater and 2) improving Chain of Lakes Well No. 1

site to support the PFAS treatment system. Contractor shall furnish and install all new

equipment as specified in the Contract Documents. Contractor shall comply with all

required Alameda County Health Orders, including those for COVID-19. Bidding

Documents contain the full description of the Work.

 

Work shall be finally completed within 457 Calendar Days

from the date when Contract Time commences to run.

MANDATORY PRE-BID SITE VISIT. District will conduct a Mandatory Pre-Bid Site Visit at 10:00am on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the project Site. The Site address for the COL PFAS Treatment Facility is 2655 El Charro Road in Pleasanton, CA 94588. Any Bidder wishing to investigate subsurface conditions at the Site must schedule such a visit with the District in accordance with Document 00200 (Instructions to Bidders).

Availability
PROCUREMENT OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS. Due to COVID-19, no bid documents are available at the District’s offices for viewing or purchase. Bidding Documents are located online on the District’s website at www.zone7water.com where Bidders may download copies for no fee. Bidders must complete the web form to download plans and specifications from District’s website to be put on the Planholder’s List. Addenda will be posted on the District’s website and will be sent by email to those on the Planholders’ List. If a Bidder fails to be put on the Planholder’s List as required, the District reserves the right to reject the Bid as non-responsive.
