Description

The Project consists of constructing a new secondary clarifier, replacing
sludge lagoon HDPE liner, oxidation ditch aerators, wastewater pumps, control building HVAC, all
electrical and controls with a new permanent generator, and other miscellaneous piping and
mechanical improvements. If additive alternates are awarded, conversion of the existing clarifier to an
aerobic digester, complete with blower building, aeration, supernatant pumping, and mechanical
improvements, will be included.

 

Trades include but, are not limited to; concrete, cast-in-place concrete, grouting, masonry, metal fabrications, metal railings, rough carpentry, wood trusses, insulation, metal roof panels, hollow metal frames and doors, door hardware, painting and coatings, HVAC, integrated automation, electrical, communications, earthwork, dewatering, excavation,  asphalt paving, fences and gates, utilities, process interconnections, misc. piping and valves, water and wastewater equipment.

A non-mandatory, pre-bid job site visit will take place December 7, 2021, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the
Burney Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 21111 Black Ranch Road, Burney, CA 96013.

Requirements
No Contractor or Subcontractor may be listed on a Bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code Section 1771.1(a)]. This project is funded in part by the State Revolving Fund (SRF), and as such a labor compliance program (LCP) in accordance with California Labor Compliance Code Section 1771.8 must be adopted and enforced. Additionally, SRF requires payment of federal prevailing wages, specifically, Davis-Bacon Act wage rules apply to all assistance agreements made in whole or in part with SRF funds. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation is encouraged. See specification 00495 for details.
