Renovation of five interconnected buildings totaling 53,453 SF. Seismic upgrades, accessibility improvements, modernization, and site redevelopment also provided. Two of the buildings were originally built in the 1930s and required extensive structural wood frame and concrete foundation upgrades that we self performed. Roofing, plaster, and finishes in most locations were removed and replaced. Many of the finishes restored were historical in nature, plaster shapes were matched, and casework was salvaged. The other three buildings had selective improvements including new fire alarm systems, flooring, and paint. The interior courtyard and front sitework were removed and replaced with new site utilities, site concrete, stairs, rails, fencing, and landscaping. Other improvements covered new lighting, HVAC systems, wheelchair lift, classrooms renovation, auditorium improvements, new bathrooms, and new offices.
