Pier 48

To retrofit Pier 48 in San Francisco, our crew drove 30 115-foot-long pipe piles, 6 foot in diameter, through the pier and into the mud in the San Francisco Bay. Over 5200 cubic yards of concrete were poured to create a beam and deck system, locking the pipe piles to the existing buildings, ensuring the structure will move as one unit, minimizing potential damage in the event of an earthquake.
