The project was a renovation of Building 490, LLNL's Secure Laser Laboratory. The "clean construction" activity consisted of renovation to the utility room, control room for laser system users and support rooms. The space was engineered and constructed to have class 1,000 and 10,000 clean rooms. The utility requirements included low conductivity water (LCW – supply & return), power (500kW), clean dry air (CDA), compressed air (CA), Nitrogen (N2), and Helium (He). Overaa handled the functional testing and commissioning necessary for serviceability of systems. We were proud to receive a glowing review from the client as having achieved the “cleanest” Class 1000 and 10,000 Clean rooms ever.
