Dougherty Valley Library and Community Center/Police Substation

The project involved construction of two buildings. The wood-framed, one-story library had a central, high-vaulted cedar wood ceiling. The bi-level, 23,000 sf community center/police substation had a large octagonal lecture hall (concrete tilt-up with exposed wood rafters) and stage, as well as a meeting room, child care center, dance studio and crafts room. The tall, open meeting hall consists of a long-span wood frame.
