The Willie L. Brown Jr. Middle School received the DBIA Distinction Award, Western Pacific Region 2017 in Pasadena, CA on May 18, 2017 . The award was presented to the San Francisco Scool District, Swinerton Management & Consulting/K2A Architects and Overaa Construction/WRNS Studio.

Emerald Glen's New Aquatic Park is opens to the public Memorial Day Weekend. The 31,000 SF water park will accomodate 1,400 people and features six water slides. One, the "Dublin Screamer" will send riders through a trap door and drop them into a wet vertical slide.

Students from University of California at Berkeley visited the construction site of  Albany Public Works Center project. Financed by the design-builder, the project includes two structures on an approximately one acre site.

Northern California’s first urban gondola system will take Oakland Zoo guests from the main zoo to the new Kaiser Permanente Visitor Center. The hilltop Visitor Center will provide sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay and a unique culinary experience for Zoo patrons.

Early Childhood Mental Health Program (ECMHP) in Richmond, CA received a new tricycle garage yesterday. An Overaa team of volunteers designed, built and delivered a new structure to house a small fleet of tricycles and ride-on toys in time for the Holidays.

Annually, Shell and the Martinez Education Foundation organizes a community wide 5K/10K run/walk to support the Martinez Unified School District. Overaa is a proud sponsor of this event and rounded the largest group of participants for an early fun run.

The Oakland Zoo's California Trail is a 20 acre exhibit featuring natural habitats for the gray wolf, grizzly bear, black bear, mountain lion, bison, tule elk, bald eagle, and California condor.
