The project consists of the construction of a new 2 story structural steel medical training facility complete with auditoriums, class rooms and open office areas. Exterior of the structure is clad in cementitious and aluminum panels along with glazed curtain walls and aluminum fin break shapes. Building construction also includes two new elevators, complete hardscape and landscape surrounding the building and full IT/voice/data/security/audio & visual systems within the structure itself; as well as a complete fire sprinkler system and HVAC system comprised of 75 ton chiller with air handler and independent VAV boxes thru out the building. Additional work consists of complete new underground utility structure to building and relocation of existing utilities surrounding the building, and interior building finishes including paint, suspended ceiling, fabric panels, operable partitions, ceramic tile, flooring, gypsum board walls, projection screens, operable window treatments, casework, wood paneling and suspended decorative wood ceilings.
Secondary component of project is the construction of new area for commemorative rose garden and relocation of existing roses to this new area. New rose garden consists of decorative site concrete, radiused wooden benches and powdercoated steel trellises and installation of new pavers, solar powered light bollards and decorative granite paving medallion.
