What does a Superintendent do?

As Superintendent, you will be the quarterback of a dynamic construction team. You will supervise all construction activities in the field. What does a Project Manager do?

As Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering successful projects from preconstruction through final completion within the context of Overaa’s company culture and values.

Qualifications – Must Haves

• Proven expertise in managing all aspects of a construction project.
• Self-directed, self-motivated, and passionate about construction.
• Ability to lead and direct one or more project teams.
• Capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication and proactive problem-solving skills.

Qualifications – Nice to have

• Bachelor Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Strong skills in the following software:
  • Microsoft Word/Excel/Project
  • Project Management Software – Viewpoint and Procore are a big plus
  • Primavera Scheduling Software
  • Bluebeam/Adobe
  • Revit or Navisworks

What does a Project Engineer do?

As Project Engineer, you will be a key member of the team, assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent to successfully deliver construction projects within the context of Overaa’s company culture and values.

You’ll help with project planning and management including preconstruction activities, scheduling, estimating, cost control, documentation control, jobsite production, and customer relations. You will likely spend much of your time at the jobsite, interacting with the team of subcontractors, architects, and engineers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Architecture or 2+ years experience.

What does a Field Engineer do?

As Field Engineer, you will be a key member of the team, assisting the Superintendent to successfully deliver construction projects within the context of Overaa’s company culture and values. This is a dynamic and hands-on role with a career path towards project superintendent.

You’ll help with project management including quality, safety, schedule, procurement, subcontractor management, cost control, jobsite production, and customer relations. You will spend most of your time at the jobsite, helping to lead craft teams and interacting with subcontractors, architects, and engineers.

What does a Team Coordinator do?

As Team Coordinator, you will be a key member of a dynamic project team, providing critical support to the planning and management of projects. 

You will report to a Team Leader and Project Manager and collaborate with the Lead Team Coordinator to develop and maintain work flow processes and best practices. You may be assigned to either the main office and/or a project field office depending on the project needs. You may work on multiple concurrent projects.

Qualifications – Must Haves

• Prior experience in construction administration for a general contractor or related field.
• Proficient in office software applications, particularly Microsoft Office, and project management software – Viewpoint and Procore is a big plus.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-starter with a can-do attitude.
• Detail oriented and well organized.

What does a Project Accountant do?

As Project Account you will perform all project-related accounting tasks, from budget setup through subcontract and change order management to project closeout, for multiple projects, each ranging from $5M to $100M.

Qualifications – Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting or,
• Several years of hands-on experience. We like to see at least five years of experience with increasingly responsibility in an accounting position in the construction industry, or two years experience as project accountant for a general contractor.
• Software: Microsoft Office required, Viewpoint or Procore a big plus.
